The questions comes courtesy of Elon Musk, who was asked whether or not he believed that we were all actually living in a simulation. Musk said odds would actually suggest we are living in a simulation and not base reality. His argument goes that the incredibly fast advancement of video game technology indicates we'll be capable of creating a fully lifelike simulation of existence in a short span of time. In 40 years, Musk explained, we've gone from Pong to massively multiplayer online games with millions of simultaneous players, games with photo-realistic graphics, and stand now on the cusp of a new wave of virtual and augmented reality experiences. Naturally, the conversation about life, the universe, everything led to Elliott and Keith troubleshooting the Matrix movies. Well, really just the sequels.

Just how outraged should people really be about the fact that it turns out Captain America is a Hydra Agent? Elliott and Keith agree on an emphatic "Not very." Speaking of geeky outrages, our friends across the pond might have a legitimate gripe with a campaign to make Gillian Anderson "Jane Bond," considering the fact that she's from Chicago. Captain America Civil War opened over the weekend and made oodles of money. Elliott Serrano and Keith Conrad discuss what they liked in the movie, and what they could have done without. Plus, in their first "Troubleshooting The Movies" segment, Elliott and Keith take a look at a movie where things got derailed and talk about how things could have been salvaged. They start things off by tackling a big one: Star Trek Into Darkness.

The first Ghostbusters trailer has finally dropped. Keith thought it was a little paint-by-numbers, but loved the special effects. He and Elliott are both excited to see the latest iteration. Scott Kelly is back from serving a full year on the International Space Station. The mission paves the way for humans to one day go to Mars. If we ever decide that we actually want to do that, of course. Plus, Elliott and Keith tackle the thought experiment to end all thought experiments: If stormtroopers and red shirts were fighting each other, who would win? Is it possible for either of them to win?

Darth Vader’s role in Rogue One appears to be expanding. Will that be a great moment or just setting ourselves up for more prequel-like disappointment? When Vader comes on the screen, do you instantly switch from rooting for the rag tag rebel spies to Vader? Prince was originally supposed to play Ruby Rhod in The 5th Element. He was on-board but ultimately they couldn’t come up with shooting dates that worked with his tour schedule and Chris Tucker ended up with the role. Elliott is intrigued by the idea, because Chris Tucker ruined that movie for him. And just about every other movie he has been in. Plus, the first full trailer for Independence Day Resurgence has Keith cautiously optimistic that the movie won't be a total waste of everyone's time, but Keith and Elliott both agree Roland Emmerich is a pretty terrible director as somehow the episode degenerates into a treatise on everything wrong with the movie "The Patriot." And Keith wonders if Hollywood is in a really big hurry to make remakes these days, or if it's just another sign that he's getting old.

More morsels are coming out of the Star Wars Episode VIII set, but one thing in particular is causing Keith Conrad some concern and giving him prequel flashbacks. Plus, rumors are swirling about the new Star Trek series from CBS. It hasn't been confirmed by anyone officially, but apparently the plan is for the new series have stand alone anthologies every season. Keith thinks this is exciting and could potentially lead to the return of some all-time favorite characters.

The first teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story landed this week. Felicity Jones plays the main character in this anthology story, and for some reason that has generated controversy in some circles. Elliott and Keith take a look at this issue of gender equality in the Galaxy Far Far Away. Plus, we've reached season finale time again. Both The Walking Dead and Star Wars Rebels left Keith less than impressed and he thinks J.R. Ewing and Captain Jean Luc Picard may be to blame.

Disney has announced that Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg will be joining forces on a 5th Indiana Jones movie. Ford will be 77 by the time the new movie comes out, but both Elliott Serrano and Keith Conrad are giddy as school boys about it. Elliott has a brand new project that will be hitting shelves at your local comic store soon. Plus, Elliott and Keith both saw Batman vs. Superman and bother were underwhelmed by it, and yet it is still making a boatload of money. It has Keith wondering if perhaps all of our storytelling standards are just a little too high.

There may or may not be a new Beetlejuice movie on the way, depending on who you ask. The new Captain America: Civil War trailer dropped during the week, and the Internet exploded with glee. Daisy Ridley may already have an exciting non-Star Wars role lined up. Plus, Elliott Serrno and Keith Conrad finally tackle one of the ultimate questions: Was Douglas Quaid dreaming in Total Recall?
