Laura Holmes Haddad was the editor of both of Sondra’s cookbooks, the girl & the fig Cookbook (published by Simon & Schuster) and Plats du Jour (self-published). In this episode, we have a laughter filled, lively discussion about Laura’s beginnings as a food and wine writer, a world traveler, a cookbook author, a mom, wife of a Lebanese husband and breast cancer survivor. All of these important times/roles in Laura’s life have culminated to make her the ultimate foodie.
