The guys take a deep dive into exactly what’s going on in the fields right now in Sonoma and Napa counties. As harvest quickly approaches and everyone is gearing up for the immense job ahead, we take a minute to relax and taste some new wines along with covering what’s going on around the area wine wise. Always a bit irreverent and casual, The Wine Makers certainly take the stuffiness out of the wine world. Enjoy.

Nice show, guys. The vineyards are, indeed, beautiful right now with all the coloring up of veraison. Hey, Sam starting talking about tasting his wine on day #2, but then you guys veered off in another direction conversation wise, and you didn’t explain, Sam, et al, why some wines taste better on day #2. (A topic for another podcast!) So fill in your listeners about why you prefer some wines on the second day… 😀 (Brian, I sent you a DM. Ping me on a preferred channel…)
