EP56: Sonoma Family Meals & Kitchen Table Project
Chef Made Meals for Fire Survivor Families, Served Weekly Since October 2017. SFM is a 501c3 non-profit.
More than 160,000 meals served…and counting. During the 2017 wildfires, more than 5,000 homes were destroyed in a matter of hours. Thousands remain displaced, living in RVs, mobile homes, with friends, or in vacation rentals nearly a year later. We continue to serve those families four nutritious meals, packed up and ready to go each week.
Heather is the dining editor for Sonoma Magazine and the Press Democrat and the founder of BiteClub. Fran Meininger joined the board of Sonoma Family Meal in 2019. She is now focused on helping Sonoma Family Meal grow and move beyond disaster relief into a strong and vital community organization.
